Prof. Aleksandra Jovanović, PhD, is a full professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, Department of Legal and Economic Sciences. The focus of her interest and professional activity through practical work is the economic analysis of law in company law, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, financial regulation, and government rights.

She built her expertise through several international specialisations and study programs at eminent academic institutions such as Florida State University – USA; London School of Economics; Texas A&M University and Academia Istropolitana, Bratislava – Slovakia; World Bank and Central European University, Budapest – Hungary; International Centre for Economic Research, Turin – Italy.

PhD Jovanović is a regular participant in international and domestic conferences and projects. She actively participates in the establishment and work of many non-governmental organisations. Further, she has been actively involved in providing consulting services and is often engaged as an expert who also participates in the drafting of laws. PhD Jovanović founded the Serbian Association for Economic Analysis of Law. She is also a member of the American Law and Economic Association.
