Prof. Benković, PhD,  was selected as a “talent for science and research” after graduation by the professors of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, back in 1997, after which her career initially began through engagement as a lecturer, researcher, and scientist. In the following years, as a recipient of a US government scholarship, she spent an academic year at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Her engagement was followed by training at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK and Pforzheim University, Pforzheim, Germany.

Since 2012, she has led and implemented international projects as a coordinator and partner. At the same time, her work was enriched by numerous consulting engagements in financial management for domestic and international organisations. The areas in which PhD Benković holds expertise are project financing, budgeting, and business and financial analysis.
